Apprentices Hired Through Group Training Organisations (GTOs)

Group Training Organisations (GTOs) work with employers both big and small to find the best candidates for host employment and on-the-job training. Let’s explore the reasons why apprentices hired through GTOs are better equipped and more beneficial to the business that hires them.

Excellent Training

When you engage an electrogroup apprentice you become a “Host Employer”. Instead of your organisation employing the apprentice directly, electrogroup employs them and “places” them with you for a period of time.

electrogroup are the legal employer and manage all the responsibilities, including discipline and counselling.  We manage their technical training to ensure they attend & pass their ‘off the job’ or formal Trade studies.

All you need to do is sign a weekly time sheet and Assessment Report for each apprentice you engage.

We will establish an account with you (setting out our mutual obligations) and issue you with a weekly invoice for the hours worked.

Host Employer Support

One more reason to hire an electrical apprentice through a group training organisation like electrogroup is the reliable support and flexibility. Host employers get no-hassle replacement if an apprentice isn’t working out for whatever reason.

Leading Apprentice Employment Agency

As a top GTO in NSW and ACT, electrogroup works with a wide range of host employers to ensure the best results, not only in recruiting electrical apprentices but in managing apprentice placements, too. Since 1994, we have helped numerous electrical companies hiring apprentices and we look forward to providing comprehensive host employment for many more years to come.
