Students attend Australian Access Program (ACCESS)

electrogroup had 45 students attend 3 courses of the Australian Apprenticeship Access Program (ACCESS) which ran in Newcastle over the last term of 2012 to help make them “job ready” as an apprentice in the electrical industry. The courses had a theory and practical content and were over a period of 6 weeks at electrogroup’s Newcastle facility.

Shane Robinson a mature aged apprentice, gained a full time apprenticeship with electrogroup after completing this program and said “it was a fantastic opportunity to do such a course and I wish to thank all the staff at electrogroup Newcastle, for all the wonderful training I received throughout the program. I have been lucky enough to gain an electrical apprenticeship from doing such a course and it has been a lifelong ambition to become a qualified electrician”.
